JAMPRO
Jamaica Promotions Corporation (JAMPRO) is the national investment and export promotion agency, under the Ministry of Industry, Investment and Commerce. It helps investors with introductions, finding sites, permits and business advocacy, and lists offices in the United States, the United Kingdom and Canada. Its website is Do Business Jamaica. The agency was called Jamaica Trade and Invest for a time and returned to the JAMPRO name in 2010.
Jamaica Manufacturers and Exporters Association
The JMEA was formed in 2018 from the Jamaica Manufacturers' Association and the Jamaica Exporters' Association. It is a membership body offering representation, trade research and a directory of members.
Jamaica Stock Exchange
The JSE began operating in 1969. Shares are bought and sold through registered brokers. Its Direct Market Access platform lets investors outside Jamaica buy JSE securities through participating brokers.
Jamaica Social Stock Exchange
The JSSE is a Jamaica Stock Exchange programme through which donors, including those in the diaspora, fund social and environmental projects in Jamaica.
Government diaspora portal
JA Diaspora Engage, run by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, gathers investment information for Jamaicans abroad.
